On Monday and Tuesday the 13 & 14th of September, Tys went to Carlingford D: The morning going I had to get up at 6am to get to Celbridge on time to get the bus. Its was extremely difficult. Ms O'Callaghan & Ms Rowan came along with us :) Its was gas listening to Ms O'Callaghan tell everyone how she loves to watch the Disney Channel :)
Carlingford village is so cute :) When we got there, we were split into groups. Groups 1,2 & 3 always went together and 4,5 & 6 went togther. We did so much walking, that i NEVER want to use my feet again. At Carlingford we got to do high ropes and go canoeing :) Me and my friend were in a boat together and were the first ones to topple over and into the water, within the first 10 minutes ;) that, takes serious talent :D Afterwards we got to go pier jumping. I REALLY waned to do it but i wasnt able to :( so me and Ruth watched all the terrified girls stand on the pier wall and looking down into the water below x]
We got to choose who we stayed in the rooms with. There was 8 in my room all together which was pretty fun :) We had to get up at 8am which was soo hard because the night before we had to go on a 3 hour hike =.= which was only ment to take us 2 but our guides got us lost in the pitch black on the top of a mountain D: when we got back, groups 4,5 & 6 were all nicely showered, in their jammies and had eaten chinese. It wasnt a plesant greeting after being battered to death by the hailstones on the top of the mountain and drenched by the rain D:
The next day we had to do even MORE walking =.= it was extremely tiring :/ Then later that day we did challenges which was really fun :D Some were pretty hard and involved alot of thinking but sure twas worth it :)
As much as I complained about the pain in my legs and feet i really enjoyed Carlingford (:
